#46 – (Re-)read all of Elizabeth George’s Lynley novels

Ever since I’ve read my first Inspector Lynley novel, I’ve been hooked on the series. The way Elizabeth George describes the people, the environment and the crimes in her books are seriously addictive. I’ve read most of them, but in a horribly incorrect order. I intend to (re-)read them all one day, this time in the proper order. So far, there’s a bit of work ahead. as all books are around 500 pages. Which is part of their appeal to me, I love writers that take their time to unravel a story.

I’ve seen some episodes of the TV series based on the books as well, and while they were pretty good, they don’t come close to reading the books to me.
